Bainbridge Island and the nearby areas are vibrant, family-friendly, safe, creative, and beautiful! Bainbridge schools are consistently rated as being among the best in Washington State. In addition to the activities, organizations, and resources listed below, there are many opportunities to be involved locally in political activism, social justice work, environmental advocacy, arts, language and cultural groups, sports, hiking, yoga, meditation, religious observance including Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist, Baha’i, and Quaker communities, as well as a local Muslim community in Silverdale, WA, and more. We’re also within an easy distance by a 35-minute ferry ride to all of the activities, restaurants, entertainment venues, and opportunities in Seattle.
